Your item was mailed on Jan 2 and left China for the USPS International Mail Processing Center in New York (JFK) on Jan 3. It's normal for there to be no updates while it's in transit between countries; the parcel's status can't be updated again until USPS receives and scans it.

EMS items (tracking code starting with E) sent from China to the US from late December onwards seem incredibly slow; we're not sure what the reason is. Usually this type of parcel will make it to the USA in 5-20 days. If you take a look around the forums, you'll see at least half a dozen other people currently having the same problem.
