Hello,

Does anyone know where to receive tracking information for packages that have very vague tracking? All that the track-China post says is that it left China over two weeks ago. Can the tracking number be converted to a working USPS number?

Unfortunately USPS does not scan China Post parcel anymore since Oct 2015. So you can not track China Post register mail (tracking number starting with R) in USPS system. However, if you use China Post ePacket or EMS(tracking number starting with L or E) , you can track it in USPS website because USPS get paid from China Post to scan such expensive parcels.
