I am curious about the process of updates as regular mail makes its way from China over to NA.

I first received the status update "sent to Airline" one week ago. Since then I have received two more updates with the same status. I understand that it is too early to expect to have received the package yet, but I'm curious if these updates mean anything. Was this my package essentially changing flights? Or are they just re-scanning it in the same place?

If anyone has any experience with this sort of info, that would be great.
