2017/08/29 14:12 International item mailed in originating country

It hasn't been updated since August the 31st. My question is, what happens in these cases? What is the maximum time it can take for the status of this package to be updated? Normally an epacket takes one or two weeks maximum to arrive. This is the first time this happens. Thank you in advance.

I think Richmond might be backed up. Same thing is happening to me except mine was on the 9th.

http://track-chinapost.com/track_global.php shows the parcel left Hong Kong for canada on Aug 31. It should be in Canada customs now. Normally canada import processing might take 10 to 30 days, you need some patient.

shipping time from Hong Kong to canada takes only 2 to 5 days. But Canada post import processing and sorting might take up to 90 days. CBC news has already reported many complaint against Canada Post international parcel department. But they refuse to do any improvement.

What can i tell you is that your parcel is NOT lost. Its status is still in normal time frame, you can do nothing but patiently wait.

Thank you, I am just worried because 2 out of 3 packages that were sent almost in the same time frame are already here, that is why I'm wondering if I should wait longer or file a claim. I will keep waiting. Thank you for your help.
