Hi please can anyone help me find out why my item has been stuck since 22nd june 2015 at "United kingdom arrived at exchange bureau" and what does this mean?

Tracking number is RI494806876CN

and i have had a lot of packages from china but they have never taken so long to get here once they arrive in the uk , and royal mail cannot find the tracking number, please help as im worrying about my order

http://track-chinapost.com/track_chinapost.php shows the parcel arrved UK on Jun 22. China Post does not control this parcel anymore. You should contact Royal Mail for parcel delivery information. If they can not find the parcel, it should be lost by Royal Mail.

I contacted them today and said after another week it will be classed as lost and the sender has to make a claim is this true?
