Post Package to US sent to China!

Hello,

I am really starting to feel desperate and like no one really wants to help me. On November 30, 2015, I sent a maxi letter as registered mail to my friend in the USA. So far, so good. But now it has been sent to CHINA and has arrived in Beijing at the Transit Station and has cleared import customs and is "in domestic transit". At this point, somebody should've already noticed that there is something wrong with the destination, as it says USA on the address label.

I talked to a lady at the post office and she advised I'd contact the German Mail Service (which I will be doing).

But I thought I'd ask here as well - my tracking number is RT929138209DE

Please get in touch and, if you can, tell your colleagues in Beijing or wherever to get the package/maxi letter on the way to its original destination. There was a reason why I sent this registered - to avoid exactly THAT.

Hallo hauweg,

die angegebene Nummer ist die, die ich von der Deutschen Post bei der Einlieferung des Päckchens bekommen habe. Ich habe die Vermutung, dass diese Nummer bereits einmal vergeben war und nicht geupdated wurde, weswegen die Sendungsverfolgung behauptet, es sei in China. (Auf PackageMapping und USPS ist das gute Stück noch in FFM am Flughafen ...)

Die Meldung, dass die Sendung in China sei, habe ich - Achtung, jetzt kommt's! - von der Sendungsverfolgung der Deutschen Post! Denn wenn ich USPS oder PackageMapping nutze, erscheint lediglich, dass das Einschreiben noch am Flughafen in Frankfurt vor sich hin bummelt. Dabei sagte die Dame mir, dass es als Maxi-Brief mit Einschreiben schneller gehe, als wenn ich es als Paket schicke ...

Ich war gestern extra bei der Poststelle, wo ich es aufgegeben habe, und auch dort hieß es, es sei in China. Ich werde mal bei der Deutschen Post anrufen und fragen, was da los ist, ob die mir weiterhelfen können.

Aber danke auch schon mal für deine Auskunft!

EDIT:

Okay, gerade mit der Post telefoniert - es ist definitiv doch nicht nach China befördert worden. PUH! Wie du ja auch gesagt hast, es hat Deutschland wohl noch nicht mal verlassen. *schweißabwisch*

Ich bin's noch mal ... ich habe nun noch mal mit USPS geprüft, und auch dort steht "USPS Tracking™ is unavailable for this product for CHINA."

Was läuft hier? Ich bin total fertig gerade. Gestern sagte man mir, dass das Päckchen noch am Flughafen sei, heute lese ich, es ist doch in China.

Beim Tracking auf ChinaPost steht jetzt

Beijing Transit Station export customs cleared
2015-12-10 22:11:00.0 arrive Beijing Airport
2015-12-10 22:18:29.0 leaving Beijing Airport going to next airport/seaport

Das Krasse ist - ich hab heute noch mal mit der Hotline der Deutschen Post telefoniert, und da war dann die Auskunft, es sei - Achtung! - in den USA angekommen, aber noch nicht beim Empfänger. WTF?!

Ich versteh das alles wirklich nicht mehr. ALLE Tracking-Seiten sagen "China" oder "Service unavailable" ... bei der Hotline erzählt man mir, es ist in den USA ... ich bin SEHR gespannt, wie DAS ausgeht ...
