Post CP309420670CN unsuccessful delivery

Dear all,

I have send a package from Shanghai to Germany on the July 04.
After 10 days it arrived to Germany, but couldn't been delivered. The address is correct and the name tag is even on the door. (i have send it to the company). Even no call was made.
In the Shanghai office the lady asked me to write a second address in case "Senders instructions in case of non-delivery". I mentioned the address of my sister. But she even didnt received a call or my package.
At the same day my package was send back to Frankfurt and then to China.
Could you please explain it and what could I do now??

International post is arranged by destination country's post company, in your case, Deutsche Post. China Post simply pack all German parcels into a big container, gave it to Deutsche Post and let Deutsche Post to do rest transport and delivery job. So if your parcel can not be delivered, you should check with German Post if there is any problem with address or anything else.

http://track-chinapost.com/track_chinapost.php shows the parcel was returned to shipper in shanghai on Aug 15. You should ask sender to ship the parcel again. Don't forget to double check with Deutsche Post and make sure they can deliver the goods to your address.
