I am waiting for a letter from Germany. According to the tracking it arrived and is hold somewhere? Will the deliver, or do I need to go and pick it up somewhere? And where?

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows the parcel arrived Shanghai CHina Post office in 黄浦区南车站路. It has delivery problem. You should call china post hot line 11185 and try to pickup the parcel asap.
