It's normal for an parcel's status not to update while it's in transit between countries. After an item leaves China, there is usually a long period of no updates until it arrives in the destination country. Its status can't be updated until it reaches the destination country and the receiving postal service scans it.

How long will China Post parcel arrive my country? How long will my tracking status be updated?

These kinds of items (Registered Mail) seem to be taking around 30 days to the UK right now. I'd expect it to show up in Royal Mail tracking around mid-February or so.
