Post Tracking problem with China Post

So I ordered something from aliexpress but even now I don't where the parcel is. The seller claims that he has sent the product on 18th Dec and when I asked him recently why I couldn't track the parcel with the tracking number provided he said: because of the peak time the postal/logistic company hasn't updated the status. Anyway that is not the case cause I bought several other products, shipped with china post, on the same date!! And I can track them fine.

It cannot be no status for this long, wait a week and open a dispute.
