Post Tracking Number fake or real?

I bought an item from aliexpress. As far as I know from all previous orders, registered post tracking number starts with R. The seller has given me this tracking number, WS004446056CN. I don't think it's real. I just got the tracking number today. Asked seller and waiting for his reply. Should a dispute be opened?

WS004446056CN is not China Post tracking number. It is a private china post agent. They collect parcel from customers and then ship them with China Post cheapest non-trackable service. They give a fake tracking number like WSXXXXXCN which means nothing. However, the parcel might arrive in future, but it is much slower than regular airmail.

So what should I do? Wait and see if it reaches me? I have already messaged the seller on aliexpress. Should I let this proceed?
