Hello.
does USPS scan tracking numbers with RG? will i get tracking infomation when the item arrives at USA? or it's like canada post?

If tracking number like RG*******CN, it is china post register mail. USPS does not scan such parcel.

USPS only scan china post ePacket and EMS. tracking number starts with L or E .

But how my client will know that the parcel is in USA?

your client can not know if the parcel is in USA or not if you shipped the parcel with China Post register mail. You should use ePacket or EMS which can be tracked in USPS website.

So who we should contact to know when he should go pickup the parcel? does usps deliver it to him but it doesnt show in the tracking info? if he calls the post office can they inform him if the parcel is in the postal service? i need clear answers please thank you

China Post register mail is like a letter. USPS will deliver it to receiver. But you can not track it in USPS website, you can not know its location in US either.
