Post problems with DHL in Germany

Hello,
we have problems with a parcel sent from china to germany. In tracking history there are a few delivery attempts - which in reality never happened. We are used to this problem - it happens to us too often with DHL although we live in the middle of Berlin - but normally DHL is informing us at least so we can pick up the parcel at a post office nearby. This time DHL even didn't inform us. But now the tracking history stucks in nowhere and nobody at DHL knows where the parcel is. So we tried to make a search inquiry at the german site of DHL. But they told us, that this is only possible from china post, since the parcel was sent from china. What possibilities do we have?

Germany Post website shows the parcel arrived retail outlet Charlottenburger Str. 140 13086 Berlin for pick-up. This message was showed since Nov 27. You should go to that post office immediately. Otherwise it will be returned to China.
