I bought an article on beginning of march which was sent through China post, track
ing no.RC386353031CN. When I track in tracking China post, and in track in destination country it says "the article has not arrived India yet" and China post home tracking page doesn't give information on the article other than sent to airline. Please help me find my parcel.

the parcel left china post for long item. if you still do not get it, it should be lost.

Could you tell where it got lost, whether in China or in India?

it should be lost in India, most possible location: Kalkata airport.

Do you have any idea how much time it takes for a parcel to reach its destination country after china post tracking shows that it is sent to airline?

normally it will arrive India within 2 to 3 weeks after sent to airline date. However, Kalkata customs has big problem in pass 2 months, many parcels are stuck there more than 4 weeks. you should expect serious delay for recent shipped parcels.
