I sent my package on December 7th to the US and when I track the package it’s been in Beijing since December 12th and now it’s December 21st . I’m wondering why it is still in Beijing as I am hoping for it to arrive home in time for Christmas . The tracking number is cp346779078cn , if anyone can tell me what’s going on that would be great! Thanks !

cp346779078cn is china post surface mail. Most of its journey will go through sea. You have no chance to get it before Xmas. Normally arrival time for such parcel will be 2 to 3 months. In worst situation, it might take half year to arrive USA.

I paid for air mail to china post company in laishan . There is no reason it should be going by sea

I can’t remember the weight but it wasn’t so heavy

if it is less than 2 kgs, it is possible that the parcel might be sent to air plane. If it is over 2 kgs, it must go through sea. Even it is airmail parcel, in this busy season, airline space is very tight and waiting line is very long. You still need wait 30 to 60 days to get the goods in USA. Chance to get it before Xmas is less than 10%
