Post Invalid tracking number?

Hi, The ebay seller sent me a tracking number but after 15 days I still get this message
Parcel#RV007683834CN is invalid, China Post has not received any parcel associated with this number!
The seller said chinapost are having errors with their tracking system is this true?

RV007683834CN is fake number. Your seller did not ship you anything.

Which website did you buy from? if you paid with paypal, you should open dispute against fraud.
