I bought an item on aliexpress and the seller gave me the tracking number RI151678828CN which looks like a real China air number but when I search it on here it says that China air has not received the package

if you got the result "China air has not received the parcel", it means your seller gave you an invalid number and did not ship any parcel associated with this tracking number.

Should I wait a few days or submit a request to aliexpress to get my money back?

The seller has over 97% positive feedback and 5 stars on the item I bought. The sellers name was the disobedient donkey store if that can help anyone help me. Thanks everyone

you can wait one more week and track it again in http://track-chinapost.com/. If it still shows as "china post has not received the parcel", you have to open dispute and claim refund.

Thanks for the help. The tracking number is working now so I'm not worried anymore.
