Why would you be $50 for a surface mail shipping?
CP means this is a surface mail for heavy package, surface mail is very slow since it's shipped by a boat or a truck.

Package is 2din car dvd player, bought at Aliexpress. I payed seller an additional €50 for transport to France, where I live.

you should open dispute to aliexpress and claim compensation from seller because he did not use fast shipping method which you paid for.

No it's not a custom issue. He ripped you off with that $50. Because he used a very cheap and slow method.
Now you can't do anything but wait for you order and leave that damn seller a bad review

I would be pleased if it is just a matter of waiting. I am afraid that the seller ripped me off for more than just the shipping costs; it's shipped 2014.06.09 02:23....

Well then you don't need to worry because it's only been a month and this is a surface mail so it will take 2 months min and could be more than 2 months.
Check the sellers ratings to ease you mind. If the store has diamonds or crowns then you don't have to worry about not receiving your parcel.
Try to communicate with the seller and ask why did he ship your order via surface mail.
If the store is one of the big stores, threaten the seller to give you a partial refund or at least the $50 shipping cost or you will leave a negative feedback.

NEVER EVER buy from a store with medals those are the worst.
