Post Complimentary delivery rate

Hi, I bought a small "tire pressure gauge keychain" from Aliexpress. The tracking code is RY818409044CN which is a China Post Registered Air.

I believe the shipping rate I paid covers door-to-door transportation, that is, from the store in China to my home address in Brazil.

So my question is: Should I pay more money to Brazilian Post (Correios) in order to have them deliver my parcel after it is released from the Brazilian Customs? Note: what I meant is not the customs taxes, it's a complimentary delivery rate.

Thanks in advance if somebody can help me...

If this were actually required, it is the first I have heard of it happening in over 100 years. The Universal Postal Union (UPU) was formed in part so that you didn't have to do this. The original sender of the parcel pays for the entire journey of its delivery, and the postal operators of the different countries of the world figure out between them who owes who how much money for delivering inbound international mail from other countries. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_Postal_Union#Overview

Is someone from Correios Brasil is asking for extra money to deliver your parcel the rest of the way to you? If so, I imagine it is some kind of scam.

Thanks for your help, shadoswpar. Recently I read on Correios website that they increased prices for clearance and delivery of imported goods. This information is not clear to me but it can be easily translated by Google translator => http://www.correios.com.br/para-voce/noticias/correios-reajusta-preco-do-servico-de-despacho-postal
So far my parcel is still under Customs inspection, I have not received it yet. I will let you know if they charge me extra money as soon as I get it.
