Post is my Tracking Number invalid?

hello i purchased my item from aliexpress around Apr 10 & the seller gave me the tracking number #RG154050728CN but every time i try to track it through your site it says invalid ... could that because the seller hasn't shipped it yet & if so should i wait one more week before i put in the dispute to give them the benefit of the doubt because the seller has great ratings on aliexpress feedback... please help me
