the parcel might need travel another 5 to 10 days to reach Hangzhou. you need some patient. You can call china post hot line 11185 and inquiry delivery schedule.

It now says attempt delivery, does this mean they will try to deliver it today or it has been missed?

China Post is trying to make delivery today. However, Most Chinese people do not have reliable delivery address, the delivery failure rate is very very high. you'd better ask receiver call China Post hot line 11185 and try to pickup the parcel.
