I ordered something and the last known date for anything was December 7th, and there have been no updates since then. Could anyone help me? it was supposed to be a christmas present.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=LL890394725CN shows the parcel was shipped by your seller From China Post Shanghai office to Canada on Dec 22.

It is now some middle location between China Post system and Canada Post system(possibly airline warehouse in Shanghai ,China or customs warehouse in Canada). You can not know exact situation when parcel is in such middle locations.

Now is rush season, Such no-information stage might last 20 to 30 days until Canada Post gets the parcel from customs. Then Canada Post website will show its new status with Canada location.
