I'm in the same boat. Mine also shipped on October 5th, and has been silent since. In JFK customs, I was told here - super busy time of year.

if you can not get it by Monday (Dec 11). you should open dispute to ebay for lost parcel.

I got updates this week:
12/10 arrived to USPS process center in Chicago. An email was sent to my inbox later saying:

http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows the parcel RH929126758CN left china for canada on Nov 4. The problem is that import processing in Canada customs is very very slow. Global mail and CBC has reported that Canada Post import processing might take 3 months. You can do nothing but waiting.

In future , please use ePacket to ship goods to Canada from China. China Post paid high price to Canada Post on ePacket. So ePacket has much higher priority to do import processing and sorting. You can get the ePacket from China in about 2 weeks.
