It's being shipped to Canada. Should I be contacting the seller about this? I had mentioned it to them before and they said that it only tracks the package while it's in China. After that, it doesn't update but then what's the point of tracking the package?

1. Unfortunately I was unable to track your number anywhere. Maybe you should ask the seller how is the carrier of the parcel. China Post or somebody else!

2. Also may I mention to you that this type of parcel that was mail from China to Canada is what is call China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus. This is the most economical way to send a parcel overseas. It can be track only in China and sometimes there is limited tracking to it. These parcel can take 30 to 60 days to be deliver or less.

2. What I don't like about those type of parcel sometimes there is very limited tracking to it just like your has right now. So basically we don't know if the parcel pass the Export Security scan or not. You might want to read this:

What does the status “Export Security Scan” mean? How long it will take?

3. You could ask maybe to the seller to check with China Post if the parcel made it pass the Export security scan.
