Post Import Security Scan since 12/12/14?

on 12/05/2014, I sent a package of gifts to my friends in Beijing from US, with USPS Custom Declaration form # CX107178840US. The tracking info on this site shows:

item No Year Status Location Destination Date

My friends in Beijing called 11185 to check but they were told the Beijing Custom had no record of it.

I sent gifts many times to Beijing, this have never happened before.

Any help on this is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

as the time passed almost one month, it might have already been returned or sold by government. call 11185 again and contact another operator to figure out the problem.

Thanks, cphelper! I will ask my friends in Beijing to call and check again. You mention 'returned or sold by government', the Chinese custom doesn't notify anyone before doing that?

No. China customs does not send notice to anyone before return or selling the goods. This is the international rule, even USA, Europe are the same.
