Post Frozen Order AliExpress

Hello,

I recently purchased a "self-balance" scooter from AliExpress, from a seller that had over 130 positive reviews. I read a lot of reviews and they seemed legitimate.

The scooter was shipped in less 24 hours and I was given this China post tracking number:
RG235190393CN

The tracking number works, I have been following the package until it left Beijing, and from what I understand it could be a couple of weeks before the package reappears in Canada, so I wasn't too worried.

This weekend I received an email from Ali Express saying that my order was frozen because of suspicious seller activity. The seller has three days to produce documentation, and if he doesn't I'll be refunded.

Can someone tell me if that tracking number is fake, even though it works? Is there any way to tell what exact Canadian address the package was sent to? Or how big the package was? Has anyone had this happen and then still received the item?

Thanks for the info!

Canada Post does not scan china post parcel anymore since Oct 1st,2015. So you can not know if the parcel has arrived Canada or not. The parcel left China on Nov 29. normally you should get it by Xmas time. No new status will show up when parcel is outside china.

Thank you. Is there a way to verify with China post what address it was sent to in Canada?

I'm worried that maybe they put a fake Canadian address, and that is why the order has been frozen.

My concern would be that the email could be some type of phishing attempt. Don't use any of the links provided in that email or reply with personal information. Go to your Ali Express account and check the order & seller status there and contact them that way. My last China Post item was delivered in November and the tracking information for it was available from Canada Post but it only shows the city it was headed to not address or package size.

The email from AliExpress only said that the seller's account has been suspended. When I try to go to his AliExpress page, I see that it has been deactivated and no longer exists. No one has asked me for any personal details via email.

I am just wondering if there is a chance that I actually have been mailed something. I would like to know what address the package is going to. I have read that even if you are given a tracking number that works, the seller could have intentionally sent something to the wrong address. I can only see that the package is coming to Canada, not the specific address.

I was wondering if there is a way to find out specifically where it was mailed, or even how big the package was, from China post.

No. You can not know such information.

Hey did you ever get your Segway scooter? I ordered one too from a good seller that had positive feedback but my order is currently frozen.
