For folks in Canada waiting on Registered Mail items from Singapore: here's how long my recent shipment took:

  • 9 Sep: Ordered
  • 10 Sep: Shipped from China to Singapore by Seller
  • 17 Sep: Received by Singapore Post and shipped to Canada
  • 21 Sep: Arrived in Canada (Vancouver)
  • 26 Sep: Cleared Customs
  • 5 Oct: Delivered (Ontario)

So 25 days altogether; almost a month. I find it interesting that the item going from China to Canada via Singapore took about the same time as going from BC to Ontario, but as I understand it, the Customs officers at the Vancouver mail processing facility have a huuuuuge volume of shipments to deal with -- probably everything from East Asia, because the other two Offices of Exchange in Canada are Toronto and Montreal.
