Post Stuck in Chinese custom ?

Hi,

When living in Shanghai I had a lot of extra weight to bring back to France, so I decided to send 2 surface parcels for a total weight of approx 21kg.
The stuff inside are souvenirs, clothes, shoes, and stuff for my camera (not electronic, only accessories). There is NO BATTERY inside.
It looks like the two parcels are still in Shanghai with status "Export Customs Scan" since 5th of September.

They told me it would take 1 to 2 months to get it at home, so I wasn't worried about the status but it's been a month and a half and I'm afraid it could be still stuck in Shanghai ?

I put a send back address but from what I'm aware of, the parcels were not sent back.

How can I have an update about those ?

CP parcels are normally go through sea which is very very slow. arrival time might take from one month to half year. you'd better open dispute and claim refund.

But how can I do this?
I sent the parcel by myself, I have no one to claim refund to...
Even if it takes 3 months I don't care, I just want the stuff to get here.
Is it normal that it's still at "Export Customs Scan"? Can it be on the boat with that status?

exports customs scan sometimes does not change until you finally get the goods. the parcel should be on the way, it will arrive sooner or later.
