I purchased an item, and the seller sent tracking number RC983341251CN is this a proper tracking number, the package was dispatched two weeks ago, and I cannot find any reference.

track here http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php. if it shows china post has not received the parcel, then the number should be fake and you have to open a dispute and claim refund.
