1. Parcels most of the time don't fly directly to the country, the might be doing this:

Routing is a whole separate matter, but suffice it to say that “lowest cost” tends to win out over “fastest speed”. Mail shipments may transit many countries enroute to their destination.

2. If by 18 Jan you can not see any new tracking of your parcel on the Turkey Post site, then just open a dispute.
