Post Weird tracking number

The tracking number that was provided to my by a Chinese seller that does not reply to my emails is 06273791760. The destination is CA, USA. When I track with that number in different China Post tracking websites, the latest event is this:

Jul 17, 2017
11:01 pm
Sent to airline，计划航班号CZ327，计划起飞时间21:00

Why is the tracking number in an unusual format? USPS does not have any information about it. I contacted them and they're saying it's an invalid tracking number.

Can you guys please help me with this?

The tracking information for this code will not be updated anymore since it left china (this is only the case with your shipping method)

Yes, I expected that. But how do I track it in USPS if they're saying that it is invalid?

Its untrackable in usps or anywhere else in the world. Its the cheapest form of parcel shipping from chinapost and tracking is usually no more than 3-4 lines. After that, it remains frozen forever regardless of whether u received it or not.

Yes of course, in fact u will more likely receive it than not. But tracking will no longer help u in locating it. Asking your post office will be useless too.

Ok. I got the refund from ebay, either way. It's just that it's more than likely that the seller was a scammer because he had no positive feedback and he represented the item to be located in Canada, not in China. For all I know, he shipped just a piece of paper and that's what the tracking number is referring to.
