Should I be concerned that my package hasn't had any updates in 8 or 9 days? Is it waiting to be flown to the US then it will update?

parcel status no update for 2 to 6 weeks is quite normal. This means your parcel is waiting for flight space to USA . Once parcel arrives USA, you will see next update.
