aliexpress website is a joke,as they always side with the sellers.your entitled to a refund,it doesn't matter what proposal seller wrote, just ignore their proposal and wait until aliexpress get involved
it takes about another 10 days for them to step in. Aliexpress will tell you to send back item at your expense, even if the item is proven to be faulty you will still be liable for return shipping costs. Make sure you send item back tracked delivery. But be prepared to wait atleast another 4-6 weeks before you get back your payment
