Post Seemingly stuck tracking.

Chances are no one can really tell me anything beyond what the tracking says but I figured i'd give it a shot.

LK095799535CN

Last update was on the 4th of December at 3:07am and is currently showing "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment." This is from an Ebay seller that seems to have good feedback and they do have the item listed with a shipping window of Dec 13 - Jan 4th.

I've been told by the seller that due to the holiday and bad weather, a lot of packages are backed up. I guess my question is, how much longer past the projected delivery time frame should I wait untill i proceed to open a dispute through Ebay?

2016-12-03 00: 00: 00.0 21:40:27 Shenzhen Fuyong Center business department to leave the processing center, sent to Shenzhen

2016-12-04 00: 00: 00.0 00:25:36 Shenzhen arrival processing center, from the Shenzhen Fuyong center business department

2016-12-04 00: 00: 00.0 03:15:43 Shenzhen City to leave the processing center, sent to USORDF = ISC CHICAGO IL (USPS)

2. Give your parcel a last chance up to the 12 Jan to show up on the USPS site. If you can not see any activity, then on the 13 Jan just start your procedure of dispute.

Thanks for the information. According to that last entry, does that mean the item left China and is on the way to Chicago? The item has shown up on usps for some time now but still says "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece.

1. Since we don't Have a flight number (China to USA) you and I can not say exactly where is the parcel. In China, in flight or in USA.

2. The only thing we know is that the parcel is On Route/In Transit from Shenzhen China to USA Chicago.

3. What you see on the USPS site for your tracking number is information from the China Post EMS that was given electronically to USPS.

4. Please just make sure you still have buyer's protection for your parcel and continue to track your parcel on the USPS site for any new movement.

Thank you for the quick replies and extra information. I'll keep an eye on it for a while. Luckily the seller has moved most of his stock to a u.s warehouse in California and will send me another unit if too much time has passed on this one. Thanks again.

Just an update. Usps updated today and my package has finally reached the u.s and is scheduled to be delivered by the 12th. I hope anyone else on the East coast that has been waiting for packages are in with this shipment as well :)
