It has almost been a month and the package hasn't arrived yet.
I understand it would be much slower in holiday season, I just want to know if it is possible to know more about the situation of the package?
Especially this is pretty urgent and I want to make sure it can be delivered to the receiver by 24th December, since the post office in Hong Kong does not open during Christmas. Otherwise, I will have to think of a plan B.
Can someone help, please?

Here is the info of the package so far.
2016-11-25 09:29:00.0 Romania received
2016-11-29 23:37:00.0 布加勒斯特 export customs cleared
2016-12-14 13:35:16.0 Beijing Transit Station import customs scan
2016-12-14 16:48:29.0 Beijing Transit Station import customs cleared (domestic transit )

2016-12-15 13:23:45.0 Beijing Transit Station export customs cleared
2016-12-15 22:52:00.0 arrive Beijing Airport
2016-12-15 22:55:26.0 leaving Beijing Airport going to next airport/seaport

both parcels have left china for UK. now is rush season, they should be stuck in customs waiting for processing. based on my experience, they will pass UK customs after Xmas holiday.

the current tracking states they are on route to Uk since 1st December. If they are in customs why does it not indicate this. I know it's December however to wait 23 days when I've received other packages already from China Post EMS posted.7th Dec this is way too long

1. What china post volunteer meant to say was, and by the way this is the same procedure for all countries in the World to my knowledge.

2. When a parcel arrive in any country it goes Inbound in a Warehouse , for some Inbound warehouse mean Customs. But no Customs Officer to my knowledge are scanning any parcel. That is the job of the National Post Office of the country to do.

3. So you parcel is probably in the Inbound Warehouse and has not been scan yet by Royal Mail. As soon as it's scan you will see a tracking of the parcel.

4. Is the above info clearer to how the system works.
