You are not alone, even one of my package (RF066417769CN) through china post too got stuck with the exact same status since 19th August 2015. I am guessing our packages must have reached India (it's been over 2 weeks with the same status being shown) by now but yet to get their status changed by Indian officials. Kolkata in particular, is notorious for their atrociously slow clearance of packages from china. BTW, Once the package leaves (from Beijing, Shenzhen or whichever part of China) nothing much can be done from the seller except extending the buyer protection time (I have already done that for my package with the seller from aliexpress) through request.

Till then, wait for Indian officials (both customs/postal office) to update the package's status.

I have connected to the Kolkata Customs Officials through some means, nut as per them none of my parcels reahed india yet, and both are with the same EDI Received status updated on 19th August. I beleive, they are roaming around in different countries .... but surely didn't reach India.

If any of your buyer protection is coming to end, please extend them or open an dispute asap.
