Many thanks for your reply earlier. My parcel is a medical lamp with a lithium-ion battery. The seller said that it should clear customs once they check it. Do you think there is going to be a problem with this? Thanks again, philb

the parcel was shipped by EMS. Although battery is also not allowed in EMS, we noticed many EMS parcel with battery inside actually arrived destination. I think the EMS battery policy might not so strict as airmail. You can wait about 2 weeks, if you can not get the goods, then open dispute.
