Post hoe does customs work

I ordered from china to okinawa japan. From china it arives in osaka and goes through customs there. Then it leaves osaka and arrives in naha okinawa and goes through customs there. If it clears customs in osaka, what are the chances of it clearing customs in naha?

your should ask Japan Post, China Post parcels are delivered by them in Japan.

Where did you get the information that packages go through customs in every city they transit? They should only go through customs once, when they first arrive in the country. After that, there is no need; once it clears customs it can be treated basically like a domestic item.
