In beginning of December, my family in America sent me a Christmas package with gifts and snacks. The package sat in the Customs office for 3 weeks on December 15.

No one contacted us at all. A friend called and complained to China Post. Now China Post is requiring us to provide receipts, prices, lists, of everything in the package. The contents were gifts from America. We do not have the receipts. The customs form is on the package. My family and I are very frustrated with this situation and want to complain about the service.

The tracking number is CH006487728US

If it is an issue of taxes, we are happy to pay the tax to bring the package into the country.

If China Post cannot help us, please return the package to our family in America.

1. Do you know exactly where is the parcel at???

2. The last tracking of your parcel is saying this:
2016-12-15 16:17:06.0 Guangzhou Transit Station import customs cleared (domestic transit )

Which means that the parcel has pass the Import Customs and is traveling inside China.

3. If you don't know where the parcel is, then go to the closest China Post Office and try to find out where is the parcel and from there on you take your decision.

Maybe the operator was so insulted by your friend, that is what came out of the conversation all the requirement about the paper work.

Thanks for your help. Do you work for China Post and contact them? I cannot speak Chinese. I just want my wife's package. I do not want to insult anyone.

Another question, if it has cleared customs, why are the customs officials requiring more paperwork? When our friend called they acted as if our package was still being held in customs but you bring up a good point that the tracking says it is cleared from customs. Do you think the package is misplaced or lost?

1. I don't work for China Post and I don't speak Mandarin or live in China.

1. The parcel might be misplace, but to find out where it is, just go to one of the China Post office and try to be polite and bring your tracking number and ask where the parcel is right now.
