http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php shows both parcels were sent to Guangzhou airport on Dec 12. They are waiting for flight space.

your CP**CN parcels are economical class mail (SAL parcel) which has very low priority to compete space with other expensive class parcels. Now is Xmas rush season, shipping space is very tight. I don't think you can get them before New Year holiday. Very possible by early February 2021

I have heard people say they parcels have come within 12 days using this shipping method where as I had 2 parcels with the most expensive ems method take over 2 months.

CP**CN is not EMS, it is SAL parcel, a very slow service.

What are the stand formats of China Post tracking number? How to distinguish them?

unfortunately you can not upgrade the parcel service when they are in transit. You must tell seller to use fast service before he ship the goods.

I've noticed one of the parcels has reached the UK, is it random as to when the other parcels will be put on an airline?
