Hello,
I ordered from aliexpress on 2015-10-06 . I got this status update the following day (2015-10-07): order information received by carrier. track-chinapost.com says "electronic data received" but only on the second try of clicking the "Start Tracking"button (new database).
The status has not been updated since. I'm afraid of scammers so please help me

Sometimes it seems to take a couple of tries to get the information across from China Post. No worries on this front.

"Electronic data received", "order information received by carrier", etc all mean the same thing: the seller has prepared the shipment and sent its details to China Post's online. If there's nothing else in the tracker, though, China Post hasn't actually received the parcel yet.

Many sellers take up to a week or so to actually send the parcel after receiving the order. They may be temporarily out of stock and waiting for something to come in, or any number of other reasons. If the tracking isn't updated in the next few days with "Item posted", "Item received by China Post", etc, I would contact the seller and ask when they are planning to ship.

Follow up, if someone is interested:
After opening a dispute, seller finally replied and investigated the tracking number problem for me. Found out the tracking number has changed and the new one she sent me works, according to which the parcel has already arrived in my city.
