There has been no update since then. I contacted the seller and they
claim that it was exported to the US on May 10th and that US Customs should have it. So I contacted the US Postal Service today (May 23rd) and they have no record of it being scanned into US Customs. Is my package lost??

2. Do you know if USPS scan the parcel before it goes to US Customs Office or only after it left US Customs Office?

3. I suspect the parcel is at US Customs Office getting clear, there might be a lot of mail in San Francisco that is causing a delay.

4. Sorry I could not help you more, you did your part in contacting the seller and USPS. If you do not receive anything with 1 week from now, contact seller and advise him that possibly the parcel is loss.
