My packages was presented to import customs on December 6th. It's been there until now, January 1st. How long does it takes to clear customs? Is there a reason why it's been held up for so long?

Recipient have not made customs declaration. Is it a return for refund?

This explains why your seller doesn't want to handle customs clearance; he simply doesn't want to accept the return and issue a refund. Many bad sellers play this kind of game. In this case, your only option is to file a complaint with the marketplace. Tell marketplace that the seller does not make customs clearance after the return has arrived in China. If other buyers file similar complaints against him, he’ll be in serious trouble.
