Can someone help me check if this tracking number is valid?
Carrier: China Post, Tracking #: LX983579770CN

Thanks.

1. Your tracking number is a valid tracking number. sometime you need to wait up to 10 days before a parcel is register into the China Post system.

2. Please take note that this week in China is a National Holiday, so it might delay the registration of your parcel a couple of days more.

Hope this help.

The seller claimed the item was shipped from Singapore. I assume he's lying then?

LX983579770CN is from China, not Singapore.

1. Just look at this site:
http://track-chinapost.com/startairmail.php

2. You will find out that the last 2 letters CN means China Post Group. If your parcel would have been mail from Singapore the last 2 letters would have been SG means Singapore Post Private Limited .

Hope this help.

1. I have no clue. Maybe you should ask him, how come he has a China Post number if he claims to send the parcel from Singapore!

Hope this help.

1. Your tracking number is a valid tracking number. If you just got that number you need to wait at least 10 days before it gets into the China Post system. It might take a bit longer because China was on a National holiday all week.

2. If after lets say 15 days you still can not track your parcel, then you need to contact seller and ask him if he did physically mail the parcel.

Hope this help
