Post Tracking number shows wrong destination

Tracking number : RI626010514CN
Website : Aliexpress.com
Order date : 05-Oct-2015
Order number : 69687128134254

Seller gave the above tracking number for my order. When I track it online on track-chinapost.com it is showing me that parcel has reached Kolkata next office is CED mumbai.

But my address is Ahmedabad, Gujarat (and same was written on the order as well).

Please let me know when shall I receive my product, or if I will receive my product at all or not? So that I can file dispute with the seller asap.

Many seller from china is scammer. I bought 6 orders from ebay of seller China, i didn't receive.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM china.

Your item just arrived at customs. Unfortunately, recent experience suggest clearing customs in India can take some time.

As for next office being Mumbai -- usually items transit a network of post offices in the destination country. After Mumbai, the item should be forwarded on towards Ahmedabad. As long as the item continues getting closer to you, not further away, I don't think there is any need to worry.

Thanks guys..I will probably wait for few more days. But with one of my other order, the Next Office showed as Ahmedabad SFE and was delivered to me in mint condition. But in this order, the next office is shown as Mumbai and I am worried if that is going to reach me. Or whether Mumbai is really the final destination or next office will get updated at all.

I was checking all these days on track-chinapost.com. Here the status never moved from last office as Mumbai. Then I tracked on India post for registered posts. I found that the address was really of Mira Road Mumbai and was delivered there.

It seems that the aliexpress.com seller has cheated and not sent the product at all. I filed for a refund and have obtained it. But in this process I lost the FX (INR to USD) charges which the bank will not refund.

I am too pessimistic to buy anything from aliexpress now. I have just lost faith in the largest e-commerce site of the world......
