This is the tracking status and it hasnt changed since 22nd march 2016.

3/22/2016 8:55:00 AM China BEIJING Send item abroad (EDI-received) Air KOLKATA AIRPORT SORTING OFFICE

I dont know what has happened to the package. Have been waiting for too long.

I had ordered another product which got shipped on the same date. It has been sent for custom clearance from kolkata but this particular order seems to be stuck somewhere.

Please provide guidance.

the parcel is still in normal time frame. no need worry at this moment. india customs sometimes processing is slow.

But how do i get to know whether it has reached india or not. Im worried because the other parcel has been sent for custom clearance and this remains stuck. Please help further

You can track your item on the India Post website using the same tracking number. Once it arrives in India the status should be updated there.

The long delay between countries where the parcel status seems to "freeze" is normal. Once the parcel leaves China, the status can't be updated again until it arrives in India and is scanned by India Post. This transit time between countries often takes several weeks. You might find these pages helpful.

Thanks a lot :)

I have been tracking it on India Post's website regularly.

The fact that another parcel shipped after the abive mentioned parcel has reached india and this hasn't :/

Is that normal?

It's not unusual for items to arrive out of sync, especially if they were sent from different cities. For some reason, India in particular seems to have a very large variance in transit times. =/
