My parents sent me a parcel on March 9th, 2015, from Germany and I have been waiting ever since. It is a transaction for Mongolia, however, according to the local Post office here, the parcel arrived in China over a month ago and is pending for further processing.

We have initiated a investigation with DHL/DEUTSCHE POST, however, have still not received any feedback either. The situation is very unsatisfactory because we don't receive any support nor have we clue why the package is put on hold. I have been waiting a very long time and my parents paid a good amount for priority shipment. Please advise what the status is of my shipment and what needs to be done to get it forwarded.

However, it is not really encouraging to hear that it 'might be lost'. It gives me the same impression I made with Deutsche Post/DHL as it seems nobody actually cares where my package is and what might have happen to it. The package has a tracking number and it said to have arrived in China for transit. How can it be lost?! Somebody in the distribution line has taken it over and must have signed up for it as it is common for registered mail. The last department/person who handled it must be known and approached for this purpose. It is a Deutsche Post transaction, however, is processed by China Post for the region and transfer to Mongolia.

It is a priority shipping and I frankly expect better than this from both services and also that actually either party standing up and taking responsibility. I expect somebody is actually moving to see where it could be and that the needful is done for the package to arrive at its meant destination.

As said, I contacted the German side already and I would be grateful if somebody at China Post would escalate the issue further to have it resolved.
