Post Is my package lost?

I mailed a first class package to my sister in China from California, USA on July 6, 2016, she still has not received it yet. The tracking number is LC948464855. It is said the package was last seen in Los Angeles on July 7, 2016.

Over the years, I have mailed numerous packages to my family in China, and I have never lost any. This is the first time I sent a package as first-class, and it got lost? I have always been using the express mail.

I called USPS and they told me they couldn't help any more after the package left USA. Could anybody tell me what happened to my package? Thank you in advance for any clue!

2016-07-06 13:05:00.0 USA received

2. May I suggest you read this:

3. I have seen in another post that it can take from 40 to 70 days for USPS 1st class Mail to be delivered.

int077, thank you for your information.

Yeah, I should have used Express mail as I have always been doing. I sent out another package using express mail along with this first-class package. The express mail arrived in about a week.

I guess the only thing I can do is to wait.
