Hello

I have a few parcels which are either stuck or there has been no update on the china post tracking site for them since a while and I am getting a little concerned. Would someone know how to get them moving forward or let me know what the actual situation with these packages really is? Below are the details of the packages, all of these are from China to India via Aliexpress:

RC647369585CN
This one dispatched by seller on 2nd July 2014 as per China Post website. The status shows as In Customs-Control warehouse Nanjing since 3rd July 2014 with no further update. It contains a few blouses/tops which i purchased for personal use. Weird thing is that i have already received another package from the same seller which was dispatched around the same time. Knowing that the seller is genuine, I haven't yet opened a dispute, have only extended the purchase protection. But I am worried about the package being stuck for more than a month at the Customs warehouse. This is the oldest order among st all the ones I have mentioned here.

This one is a whole different story. It was dispatched by the seller on 6th July 2014 as per China Post website. And has gone through Export Customs Scan 4 times already in China!!! The last update i see on the tracking site is on 1st Aug 2014 as "Export Customs Scan...Beijing". Really can't understand where it is now or whats the status. And why it would go through so many scans! It just has one pair of trousers!

This one was dispatched by the seller on 28th July 2014 as per China Post website and the status is stuck on "In Customs-Control warehouse...Nanjing" since 30th July 2014. Again, very worried about what to do. There is still ample of time for purchase protection to end but there hasn't been any change in the status since 10 days on the tracking website.

This one was dispatched by the seller on 24th July 2014 as per the China Post website and is stuck on "Export Customs Scan...Beijing" since 1st Aug 2014. Really can't understand where it is now or whats the status.

There are a few other orders as well but I am being patient with those as they were placed in the first few days of Aug. But the ones given above are really causing me a lot of concern. I really don't want to go through the hassle of fighting or disputing with sellers and forcing a refund out of them.

Nope, status shows that it has been sent to the Mumbai customs. Waiting for it to clear customs. Funnily i just got the delivery of another other which was placed on 26 July, it reached me in one month!

I got the delivery today.

I did not write or speak to anybody. Just had to wait a long long time.

It seems that neither the sellers nor us can do anything. There is a shortage of flights in china due to political issues and so there is major backlog of parcels with the post.

Such a situation is beyond anybody's control. Now they are trying to get the packages delivered but i am assuming that there must a huge backlog and so things are taking time. I dont think parcels are lost or unnecessarily stuck. Óne more parcel of mine has reached India yesterday and is currently under customs clearance in Mumbai. But the fact is that anything dispatched is the last week of July is definitely going to take longer to reach us than the normal 4 weeks that they used to commit in the past.
