The last entry for a LY package bound for the US was from Wuhan, saying "Handed over to Forwarding Agent for Transit 2020-11-11" What is a forwarding agent and why is there no update in 8 days?

you need write tracking number in your question, otherwise none can help you.

http://track-chinapost.com/result_china.php?order_no=LY534781137CN shows your parcel was sent to airline on Nov 11. It is still waiting for flight space to USA. you can not see next update until it gets flight space. Normally it will take 2 to 6 weeks.

The parcel arrived at Los Angeles in the destination country. But why was it then sent to some unknown town in Florida in the South when it is supposed to be delivered to Hawaii?

I feel you are scammed. Your seller gave you a tracking number which belongs to another guy in Florida.

You need open dispute to get refund.

Got full refund. Seller didn't fight dispute, showing that they never shipped my item.
